Kissing Keshi is a one-off design competition piece which can not be replicated due to the organic form of the pearl.
It is made of 18ct yellow gold and features an Australian keshi pearl, grown by Cygnet Bay Pearls in Western Australia. The gold pod is a hand carved, three dimensional, mirror image of the pearl and is set with one ring of Australian cognac diamonds and one ring of Australian champagne diamonds. The diamonds are round brilliant cut in shape and pavé set.
There is a hinged bar joining the pearl and the pod, allowing for natural movement of the piece when worn.
The necklace is approximately 41 cm long, the cable chain is an 18ct yellow gold woven piece and has a bayonet clasp.
Total weight is 22.13 grams.
Twelve cognac coloured diamonds equal 0.31ct and measure approximately 1.9mm each in diameter. Colours vary through the cognac spectrum.
Eleven champagne coloured diamonds equal 0.17ct and measure approximately 1.5mm each in diameter. Colours vary through the champagne spectrum.
