The statement neck piece is crafted in sterling silver and 9ct white gold and features Australian boulder opal and pink sapphires.
It is constructed using multiple hinge and rivet systems to allow movement within the piece. Each panel is screwed on from the back giving the piece a three dimensional quality that entices you to turn it over and manipulate it to see how it moves and behaves. The matching custom clasp is beautifully designed to be subtle yet secure.
Inspired by drought in the Australian outback, the piece depicts a river system and dried out and cracking mud.
The neckpiece is 50cm long x 57mm wide x 15mm deep.
